Thank you for taking part in Good Deeds Day 2020!

Due to COVID-19, Good Deeds Day 2020 looked different than in previous years—both around the world and here in Chicago. While plans changed, a few key things remained the same: the spirit of our volunteers, the power of coming together, and the ongoing commitment to do good!

Though we were unable to gather in person, we got together virtually for hands on service projects and meaningful conversations about caring for our neighbors during a global pandemic. Thank you to everyone who participated in Good Deeds Day, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2021!

Good Deeds Day is an international day of service that was founded in Israel in 2007. In 2019, 3.9 million volunteers from 108 countries around the world came together on one day to do good and prove that anyone can make a difference. Locally, we engaged over 1,000 volunteers from all across our community in 50 service projects. View photos from GDD 2019 on this page!
