Week 2: 8/16-8/20
For Chicago-area Jewish teens entering 7-12 grade
Registration opens February 12
At Camp TOV, teens make a difference. From supporting local neighbors in need to combating hunger, Camp TOV is a unique opportunity to make a difference all over Chicago this summer! As we continue to monitor COVID-19 developments through the State of Illinois and the CDC, the health and safety of our campers and staff remains our top priority. While we look forward to a fun, in-person camp experience, we are prepared to shift to a virtual camp setting if need be.
How Camp TOV works:
- Camp TOV is a day camp “on wheels.” There are multiple bus pick-up locations around Chicagoland (based on registration) where the campers are picked up and dropped off. Each day brings a new hands-on volunteering project for them to participate in with campers earning about 20 volunteer hours in just one week! See a sample itinerary! There are two, one-week sessions with each offering the same programming, so you can choose which dates work best for you!
- Program cost: Early bird price, $300. Regular price, $335
Includes transportation; two daily kosher, CRC-certified snacks; one dinner during the evening program; two Camp TOV t-shirts; and all programming and curriculum. $18 of the program cost will be donated to JUF's Annual Campaign.
- Campers will also have the chance to take part in an evening program during the week of Camp TOV where they will get to serve dinner at a community kitchen. This direct connection with people in need is always a highlight of the program!
