Dina joined RJD's Advisory Board in June 2017. She recently moved to the North Shore of the Chicago area from San Francisco. Dina emigrated from St. Petersburg in 1989 with her family. She went on to receive a double Bachelors in Communication and Religious Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Afterward, she held a number of positions in both the Jewish non-profit community as well as in hospitality. She created a summer day camp in Santa Barbara, ran Hillel in Orange County, worked for the Jewish Community Federation in San Francisco and fund-raised for the JCC in Palo Alto. She also founded Jacobs & Associates with her mother, a Life & Business coach. Their clients have included Fortune 500 Companies, non-profit organizations, small business owners and individuals. In addition Dina volunteered for numerous groups such as the Young Adult Division (YAD), the Israel in the Gardens festival, Mishmash- a Russian Jewish group in the Bay Area, the Junior League, and as the leader of Second Saturday- a monthly Jewish mixer. She parlayed her role with Second Saturday at the Cellar Lounge into a managing partnership of the business. From 2011 to 2016 she managed the successful lounge, enjoying a colorful experience hosting celebrities and running events for Bay Area startups. Now Dina and her husband Randy are excited to explore their new home- they love finding new restaurants, drinking wine, attending baseball games and traveling.
