Tamar Caceres

Tamar moved to Oak Park with her husband Jhon and three teenage children, Nox, Jeremy, and Michelle, in 2021 following her medical training. She grew up in Vermont and lived in Delaware and Boston before work brought her to the Midwest. They welcomed their baby boy Raymi in January 2022. When not working as a pediatric neurologist and clinical researcher helping children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental disorders, Tamar enjoys spending time with family, finding fun and creative ways to expose Raymi to Spanish and incorporating Jhon's Peruvian culture into their Jewish traditions, walking her 2 year old Maltese dog Habibi, Latin dancing, traveling, trying new restaurants, time outside and playing games.

She is super excited to meet new families, explore the area, and help other Jewish parents with young children in Oak Park and surrounding towns connect through her role as a jBaby Parent Ambassador.
