For Kira, the common thread between her career, volunteer work, and education is the opportunity to foster connections and help others find their place.

At Salesforce, she drives impactful partnerships across global markets, always keeping genuine relationship-building in mind. She leads the Chicago chapter of Saleforce’s Jewish employee resource group, as well.

Outside of her day job, Kira serves as President of JNFuture Midwest, creating an environment where people “feel seen, valued, and inspired to participate,” shared a friend and fellow fundraiser. She is also active with JNF Women for Israel and will be co-leading a JNFuture mission to Israel for young professionals in their 30s.

Kira credits JUF’s Voices: The Jewish Teen Foundation and the Lewis Summer Intern Program with introducing her to grantmaking and philanthropy through a Jewish lens.

“Kira represents the future of Jewish leadership: grounded in identity, driven by purpose, and deeply committed to building meaningful community,” her friend said. “At just 31, she is already shaping the next generation of Jewish engagement in Chicago.”

Something most people don’t know about you: Most people know me from business and community leadership, but few know that I grew up singing and performing in musicals, choirs, operas, and even competed in a state music competition. It taught me confidence, discipline, and how to connect with an audience long before I stepped into a professional leadership role.

A Jew who inspires you: Rachel Goldberg-Polin inspires me because she embodies extraordinary strength, resilience, and moral clarity while remaining deeply rooted in Jewish values. In the face of unimaginable hardship, she has become a powerful advocate not only for her son, Hersh Goldberg-Polin z”l, and the former hostages, but for the Jewish people as a whole.

Your best piece of advice: Be intentional about the people you surround yourself with—they will shape your mindset, ambition, and confidence. And always have something you’re working toward. For me, having a goal, no matter how big or small, gives life purpose and momentum.

Is there anything else you’d like the community to know about you? I am participating in the upcoming Chicago Triathlon and Chicago Marathon, fundraising for Israel for both events. I also am leading a trip to Israel in December for people in their 30s and would be incredibly proud to have some fellow Chicagoans by my side!
