New 7-11 Year Old Programs

When I Grow up:

A series of interactive conversations and hands-on projects with a fashion designer, cartoonist and professional baseball player.   Hear how their Jewish identities inspired them when they were young to grow up to achieve their dreams. 

This series is designed for children ages 7-11 years old and an adult.

PJ Library and PJ Our Way invite you to meet Jordan Gorfinkel a former DC Comic editor, a writer, and a cartoonist.  Through an interactive discussion and hands on cartoon workshop, get to know Gorfinkel and begin to understand how Judaism and cartoons can be intertwined.

PJ Library and PJ Our Way invite you to meet Stacy Igel, an accomplished fashion designer and head of the New York City based Boy Meets Girl brand. In an interactive discussion, Stacy will share insights into the fashion industry and her story of how her Jewish identity and Chicago roots inspired her to grow up to achieve her dreams. Participants will also have the opportunity to work with Stacy to use their creative skills to design something special.

PJ Celebrates Tu B'Shevat

Join PJ Library and jBaby Chicago at the Dupage Children's Museum on February 4, from 4-6 pm for havdalah and to celebrate Tu B'Shevat, the New Year for the trees! Enjoy crafts, snacks, private admission to the museum and music from Ms. Aimee Leigh. Tu B'Shevat fun for the entire family!
