JUF presents STAND UP CHICAGO on Monday, August 3, 2009, featuring an evening with Don Rickles. The event will be held at the Auditorium Theatre (50 East Congress Parkway, Chicago). Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person and must be purchased in advance through the JUF Website. Attendance at this event requires that each attendee make a meaningful commitment to the 2009 Jewish United Fund-Israel Emergency Fund. Your gift can be paid in installments and is not due in full until December of 2009. Enjoy a fun, summer night under the stars with friends! This event will be held at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum (2430 N Cannon Dr, Chicago) at 7:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $45, which includes open bar and dessert. This event requires a minimum gift of $55 to the 2009 Jewish United Fund Annual Campaign (which is not due until December and can be paid in installments). Register Online. |  |  | | Blue and White Bar Night: Photos and Slideshow | .gif) |  | This year’s Blue and White Bar Night was held on June 18, at Enclave. 14 Jewish organizations sponsored the event which featured a fashion show of the most talented and innovative Israeli designers. The evening was a huge success with over 400 people in attendance! View Photos and a Slideshow from the event. |  |  | | Film Release: Unmistaken Child | Unmistaken Child is being released on July 24 in Chicago at the Music Box. This film is a documentary about a Tibetan Buddhist monk’s search for the reincarnation of his deceased master. The film has been picking up awards around the world. Israeli Director Nati Baratz followed the monk on his quest for 5.5 years as they traveled throughout the Far East.
