Young Women’s Board Programming

Campaign Events

YWBThe Young Women’s Board has several fund-raising events throughout the year that contribute significant funds towards the JUF Annual Campaign. These events emphasize the importance of individual giving and have varying minimum giving levels.





  • Hatikvah requires a $2,000 minimum individual gift to attend
  • Pillars requires $750 minimum individual gift to attend
  • Spring Event (co-chaired with the Women’s Board) requires a $365 minimum individual gift to attend

Community Outreach and Education

YWBPerspectives, a new program offered by the JUF YWB, promotes enrichment for women and Recognizes the importance of involving and increasing the participation of young Jewish women in our community.  Perspectives is designed for women who want to learn more about the JUF community, Young Women's Board and about themselves.  The program takes place twice a year, once during the fall and again in the spring.

Day School Insights

Day School Insights is an annual program that offers programs on relevant Jewish topics.  It is an opportunity for women who have children that attend any Chicago area Jewish Day School to come together, meet new people and learn about important and current issues in the Jewish community.

Leadership Development

FLEX (Future Leader's Educational eXperience)
This seminar focuses on Jewish heritage, world Jewry and local Jewish communal needs as they affect us as Jewish women today. This series of four programs is held in the fall.
