Hot Spots: Where to Eat, Drink, Shop and Play in Chicago

• There will be NO parking available at Anshe Emet Synagogue.

Volunteer with YWC

In conjunction with JUF’s Tikkun Olam Network (TOV), the Young Women’s City (YWC) Council will coordinate special volunteer opportunities for groups of women are offered throughout the year.

Please join us for a JCFS Beautification Day:

Date: Sunday, June 7th from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Agency: Jewish Child and Family Services

Location: Will be released upon registration.

Description: JCFS runs numerous group homes for foster children and developmentally disabled adults in the city of Chicago. Put a smile on the faces of the residents with this two-part program: paint a new set of dishes for the residents of Migdal Oaz, a residential home for young men with developmental disabilities, and decorate and plant beautiful flower pots for the JCFS group homes. Participants will also hear from a representative of JCFS, who will provide an introduction to the agency.

Cost: The pottery painting project will cost $18 per piece.
