Women’s Division Annual MeetingThe Women’s Division Annual Meeting was held June 4, 2008, in the Lillian and Larry Goodman Conference Center in the Federation building. The meeting was co-chaired by Women’s Board Co-Chair Adrienne Kriezelman and Young Women’s Board Co-Chair Karen Sutker. It was a lovely induction of incoming board directors and officers and recognition to the outgoing directors. At the meeting, 10 farsighted women who have endowed their Lion of Judah gift since the last Annual Meeting were honored. Our community is truly blessed to have a total of 122 Lion of Judah women, whose vision will ensure that Jewish continuity and the vitality of our community will be forever perpetuated. Together, these extraordinary women have created an endowment of over $12 million, the income from which will, year in and year out, support our commitment to the Women’s Division annual campaign. Each of the women received a beautiful certificate and signed the Lion of Judah Endowment page for the next volume of The Book of Generations. We thank them for enriching the lives of future generations of our Jewish people. The Women’s Division Annual meeting also installed the new officers of both the Women’s Board and the Young Women’s Board. New Board Members were elected and installed. |
