The Jewish Teen Alliance of Chicago (JTAC) is comprised of the Jewish United Fund of Metropolitan Chicago, BBYO, Bnei Akiva, Community Foundation for Jewish Education, JCC/Chi-Town Connection, Jewish Student Connection, Jewish Student Union, Moving Traditions, NCSY, NFTY, Or Tzedek, Shorashim, Response, USY, Yachad, and Young Judaea. This alliance represents a large majority of the Jewish organizations for youth and teens in the greater Chicago area. Each year between 10 and 15 teens are selected to sit on the JTAC board as representatives of their youth organization. Together, they participate in leadership development curriculum and plan multiple community-wide events, including J-Serve and the teen portion of Israel Solidarity Day. This year JTAC's primary focus is on 18 Under 18. The JTAC teens, created the 18 Under 18 criteria, selected the winners and are organizing the 18 Under 18 Community Celebration.
