What is P2K? JUF’s Partnership 2000 (P2K) works in conjunction with the Jewish Agency for Israel. P2K links communities in the Diaspora with communities in Israel, predominantly in the Negev and Galilee. Through P2K, more than $1.2 million of funding from JUF’s annual campaign supports projects that promote the region’s development, improve the quality of life for its residents and connects them with Chicago Jewry through “people-to-people” programs.
Love finding new recipes to share with your family and friends?
Did you ever wonder how these recipes migrated from Morocco or Romania to Buffalo Grove or Kiryat Gat?
Do you have a special family recipe or just a favorite dish that you enjoy preparing?
We hope you will share it with us, and impart a little bit of yourself, your family, or simply why you chose this recipe. As part of our “People-to-People” program, JUF and our Partnership 2000 region of Kiryat Gat, Lachish and Shafir are creating an online anthology of family stories and recipe exchange that will be at www.juf.org/p2k.
Translation and conversion tables will be available so all sides can share in the preparations. In addition, we will select recipes to print in our Partnership 2000 Cookbook – “A Taste of P2K”. All recipes will be tested and space is limited, so get those recipes in!
