Sibshops offer brothers and sisters of children with special needs an opportunity to share common joys and concerns, learn to handle common dilemmas and have fun!
Yad B' Yad is offered in collaboration with the Fiedler Hillel at Northwestern University, bringing together young Jewish adults with learning disabilities or I/DD and young Jewish adults for social, recreational and religious activities.
Hevra offers social outing and activities for Jewish adults ages 35-60 with learning disabilities or I/DD with opportunities to make friends and connections in the community.
Residential Supports provides support, assistance and training in community settings for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. CILA, Home Based Waiver and private funding accepted.
Community Education - JCFS offers free monthly community education lectures on a variety of topics of interest to people with disabilities, family members and professionals. Continuing education credits (CEU's) available.
Psychoeducational Groups - JCFS offers a number of short term groups specifically for adults with I/DD. Topics have included Healthy Relationships and Sexuality, Anxiety and Anger Management, Dating Skills and Your Relationship with Food.
